A vital part of how we stay simple, natural, and responsible are the ingredients we use (and don’t use) to craft our skin care products. We strive to use high-quality, natural ingredients when available for you and your family, without compromising the environment.

Essential Oils

Essential oils have been used for centuries for their medicinal, therapeutic, and cosmetic properties. They are concentrated extracts from flowers, leaves, branches, or roots that contain both the aroma and health properties of the plant, making them the perfect natural alternative to harsh chemicals and artificial ingredients for your skin.

We use essential oils certified by the National Organic Program (NOP) and we choose them based on analysis of market trends, technical knowledge, and our market research–but more importantly because we believe in their reputation with wellness.

We use essential oils in combinations to enhance one another and to stimulate the mind, body, and senses. They build on and complement each other, creating optimal benefits for your skin and a balanced aroma. Even though we have combined multiple essential oils in each product, the names of our products reflect the high notes, or the primary essential oils, of the combinations.

We also offer hypo-allergenic products, free of essential oils for sensitive skin.

Moisturizers and Oils

All of our soaps are made with palm oil (Sodium Palmate), coconut oil (Sodium Cocoate), and vegetable glycerine. Palm oil and coconut oil are gentle, natural cleansing and emulsifying agents and are commonly used as a base for bar soaps. Vegetable glycerine is a natural, vegan moisturizer derived from plant oils that hydrates and seals in long-lasting moisture for softer, smoother skin.
